Thanks to officer Luke Watson for responding to the Portrait Quest.
Luke has been an inspiration to many and I congratulate him on the work he has done.
In an attempt to stand against homophobia and anti-gay discrimination, Toronto-based police officer Luke Watson dyed his hair pink for International Day of Pink.

Paul Destrooper, Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA

Special Thanks to Paul and the Ballet Victoria Dancers for their generosity in signing portraits for the studio walls.
--------
Paul became the Artistic Director of Ballet Victoria in September 2007. Every season he creates new works to add to the Canadian repertoire. The choreography stimulates audiences in new ways, breaks down stereotypes about ballet by infusing dramatics, varying styles, humour, and visual fluidity while enhancing the dancers’ abilities to express the emotional content in their work. The work concentrates on shaping the movement using the whole body in a way that it captures light with little interruption to its flow. We call it the art of light.

Paul has choreographed over twentyfive works and three full-length ballets. His works have garnered glowing reviews in both Canada and the USA.
